Machine Quilting
Learn the basics of both straight-line and free motion quilting. Using the book “Machine Quilting Made Easy”, the class will cover basting, marking, threads, batting and how to manage a large quilt in your machine.

Serge a Placemat and Napkin
We will use the 4 thread overlook and the rolled hem stitch of the serger to create a placemat with a matching napkin.

Strips and Curves
See basic strip piecing in a whole new light! This two session class presents Louisa Smith's technique that combines straight lines and gentle curves to create colorful and artistic quilts. Experience how color and block lay outs create drama and contrast with this easy to make quilt. This class is for advanced beginners and above, it is not a class for a beginner.

Water Wall
Simply fun! We play with lots of fabrics. This is a color wash quilt that is easy to sew and very contemporay in style. The colors are what makes this quilt a standout.
