Machine Quilting Basics

Learn the basics of both straight-line and free motion quilting. Using the book “Machine Quilting Made Easy”, the class will cover basting, marking, threads, batting and how to manage a large quilt in your machine.

Pillows - Learn to Sew Class

Learn to make things for you home starting with pillows. You will learn the basics about a sewing machine and fabrics by making a pillow that will match your home décor. We will discuss different pillow types. Easy way to decorate your home and for less.

Learn the beginning basics of garment construction by making pajama pants for an adult or a child. You will learn the basics of using a sewing machine. You will learn about fabrics and how to read a pattern. Beginning sewing techniques for waistbands and hems.
This class will be a great start to go on and make more garments. Three sessions.

Pockets to Go

Use this handy organizer next to your sewing machine, or on you desk, or in your bathroom to keep everything handy. You can also make the long organizer to use in a purse or tote bag. With the long organizer you can easily switch from purse to purse.

Ruler School - 120 degree ruler

Learn a new trick to make this beautiful star quilt without Y-seams. We will be using the 120 Degree Triangle Ruler and strip piecing techniques to sew this block.

Sewer's Traveling Tote

The Sewer's Traveling Tote Bag is the perfect bag to pack for a quilt retreat! You can easily organize your projects and sewing equipment in the different compartments. Sewing Basket

This sewing basket, called Eva Sewing Basket by Hemma design, puts a fun twist into sewing organization. With less then a yard of fabric, you can have a fun, decorative sewing basket, and pin cushion, for your sewing notions.

Tote Bag - Learn to Sew Class

Great class for the beginner sewer. You will learn how to use a sewing machine to construct a basic tote bag. Learn how to operate a sewing machine, how to cut out a pattern and the construction techniques for the tote. These totes are useful, attractive and are great gifts.
