Beginning Quilt Sampler Block of the Month
We will cover one block at each session. You will learn various piecing techniques, while improving your rotary cutting skills. This is a good class to build on your basic quilting skills.

Charm Burr
"Charm"ing Burr - Another of the series of designs using 10" cake square packs, or fat quarters. Again, this quilt makes a good-sized lap-quilt or can be doubled for a queen. SImple design using half-square triangles. It's fun!

Color Study
Learn the language of color and raise your visual awareness by studying the properties of color. First two sessions we will mix paint in Kay’s kitchen for a variety of color scales. Last two sessions are at the store. We will make fabric selections for specific color harmonies which will be made into duplicate blocks for trade with your classmates. There will be homework, but you will not need to bring your machine to class.

County Lines
This is a beautiful quilt using rectangles, squares, and sashing that is easy to piece and assemble. Great quilt for an all day sewing class - You will be close to being done when you leave.

EZ Applique Block of the Month
This traditional style quilt is made using the Quilt-As-You-Go construction method. The quilt blocks will be appliquéd by machine and quilted BEFORE assembly. After joining all nine blocks, sashing and border, your quilt will be finished except for binding.
